I am Allain Dadivas, a photographer working across travel, culture, and portraiture, now moving into documentary to tell fuller stories about people and places.

About me

I'm a photographer working across portraiture and cultural storytelling in the Philippines. My work is driven by an interest in people and the lives they lead, whether that's in a portrait, a cultural moment, or the rhythm of a place.

My photographs have been published in Cebu Pacific's Smile Magazine, Art+ Magazine, Spot.ph, and Philippine Airlines' Mabuhay Magazine, where I've documented my region and the people who shape it.

I'm now moving into documentary work. Portraits and cultural features taught me how to photograph people, but I want to go further and tell fuller stories about the communities I photograph. Documentary is where I think that work belongs, and it's the direction I'm committing to now.
